    Everywhere I went in recent weeks there have been hearts galore.  From the smallest corner grocery store to the mall, Valentine decorations prevailed.  Advertisements spoke of gifts from the heart and the movie channels were full of romantic adventures. I am grateful to have a sweet Valentine to share this day and my life with.  But even more so I am glad that he and I share one heart, one life, one purpose.  While we deeply love each other, our love and dedication to Jesus is paramount and guides our lives.     The first words that come to mind when I think about salty speech is that of some old fashioned seafaring man whose language is certainly colourful.  He often has no regard for the thoughts and feelings of others, but barrels his way through conversations.  It is not usually the kind of conversation one wants to emulate.
