About

Laura Goerz has been sharing her writing with others for over twenty years through various magazines and blogs.  Her greatest desire is to have her writing be an instrument used by God to help others – to inspire, to encourage, to restore, and to instruct.  In our often chaotic world, Laura hopes to offer her readers the knowledge of hope found only in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Laura makes her home with her beloved husband Stan on their large acreage in the country.  She is blessed to be the mother of four wonderful children and the stepmother to three great sons.  Laura’s six grandchildren bring her great happiness.  Her greatest joys are to care for her ever growing family and to serve her Lord wherever possible.  She loves to garden and is forever looking for new variety of fruit trees to add to her large garden.

As a trained teacher, Laura works in the public school system.  She also uses her gifts to serve her local church in the area of Parish Education.

Her life has taken her to homes in many places – the Saskatchewan prairies, the mountains of Alberta, the North, the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, and the heart of the country in Manitoba.  Through her life’s journey Laura has experienced the blessing of many faith communities and many friends made along the way.

Laura, you never fail to uplift me through your writings. I usually pass them on or at least tell Bill about them … I still think that you should publish them in a booklet form. My sister-in-law, Judi Luckhardt and you, have both inspired me and a lot of others with your words. May God continue to bless you and keep you (and your class) in His tender loving, caring arms. Blessings! ~Diane

Thank you for your kind words and support of the work I am doing. I am grateful to be God’s instrument to share the hope and encouragement that only He provides. We have an amazing, loving God who is there no matter what happens and I will continue to share that fact as long as I am able. Blessings to you.

Laura, I just want to say ‘Thank you” for your inspiring messages. They usually appear when I need a lift and they never fail to do just that. They are often forwarded to others or they are attached to my fridge to be a reminder for the days, weeks or month ahead. The Lord has given you a great talent and I for one, am so thankful that you are using that gift to share with others. May God continue to give you the wisdom, the love and the words to share His love. ~D

Thank you for your comments. While my faith is most certainly strong, I can do nothing without Christ working through me. He is my strength and support through all things.
