    It has been a wet summer around our place this year.  While moisture is needful for the garden to flourish, the abundance of it has created a massive weed problem.  It is a year where I have seen new varieties of weeds – not exactly the kind of diversity I am trying to promote in my garden.   • Blessings of Trust

    I was having a bad day totally brought upon myself by worry about something over which I have little control. It permeated my thoughts and even brought a few tears. I tried to figure out the situation, analyzing it from every angle; but the answers remained the same. There is no immediate answer to the situation and I can do little to change it. That truly bugs me. Yet, my gracious Lord knows when I need His gentle Word with its kick in the pants, so to speak. As He often does, He provides with the most meaningful words at the right time.
